A reflection on the inevitable journey of human civilization at the twilight of life on Earth. How our civilization whose millennial existence does not weighmore than a breath in the balance of cosmic immensity, will manage to perpetuate and what place will be given in five billion years to our rituals, and icons that we call masterpieces? Bianca Argimon thus draws utopian space cities, vast theater for the everyday life of men set out to conquer the stars. Through her interventions on ancient history books of art or on the pages of stellar atlas, Caroline Corbasson looks on the posterity of the constituent artifacts of human civilization while questioning the shortcomings of our scientific knowledge in perpetual renewal. Together, they suggest ways for this inexorable exodus, trying to imagine the paths that our descendants will take in a few billion years.
